Ha Ha 4am start, what 4am start? try 4.50am s*** the bus is coming in 10min start!! Rushing round the room like loons trying to get sorted whilst not waking up Neil (hes staying in Penang an extra day) DOH!! We get down staires to be told the bus has left for a bus to turn up 2mins later ready to take us??? Very strange but at least we got the bus. Immigration was pretty easy (our 1st of many) got stamped out of Malaysia and then just down the road were stamped into Thailand :) We have to leave by April 24th. Once in Thailand our driver changed in Hat yai and then we continued on to Koh Lipe, from the main land we had to get a speed boat over the the island.... whilst we waited we had the smallest sandwiches IN THE WORLD and i bought a very nice vest top for 1.20 :) bargain at half the price!

Our ferry ticket came with a map of Koh Lipe and after asking a lady on the boat we found out we were to be dropped off on a floating pontoon and then were to get a longboat to take us to which ever beach we wanted to stay on. We decided on Pattaya beach as it looked the busiest and close to most ammenities :)Once we hit ground we soon found out that it wasnt going to be cheap most places were 600+ B 12pound a night 4 pound each hell no!! Eventually we asked at a bar called 'monkeys' he offered us a very basic room, matresses on the floor massive mozzy net for all of us and no lock in the door, but it was only 300B 6pound 2pound each so we took it :)

We didnt plan to do much but beach and maybe island hop a little, kat and coop want to snorkel and i wanna eat sum seafood god knows how much thats gonna cost!?!?
